Dreiers was established in 1921 during the time of the construction of Hartbeespoort Dam.
Dreiers survived the Depression in the twenties and a fire in the sixties which destroyed the whole building. In the early days Dreiers collected drums of oil from Pretoria using ox wagons. It took them about seven to eight days. During this time they also removed garbage with an ox wagon at no cost.
Today Dreiers often contributes to schools, churches and the community. The community is of great importance to Dreiers. There are families that have been supporting Dreiers for four generations!
